The Good News
What is the only solution to people’s BIGGEST problem? Watch to find out!
What Next?
Have you repented of your sins and put your “Trust” or “Faith” in Jesus Christ?
Do you want to but do not know how?
If so, pray a prayer like this:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face death now that you are my Savior. Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
If you have surrendered to Jesus by faith you are now a “New Creation.” Your old self that was at opposition with God is gone and a forgiven, free, and a new self is now your reality. You are now in a perfect relationship with God because of what Jesus did for you!
So what is next? Well this is even better news; it is only the beginning.
Ephesians 2:8-10 says:
“8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.”
This means your new life comes with a plan to love Jesus first, and to love everyone else as Jesus loves you.
This means you are called to be in community with other born again believers in Jesus Christ.
We get to obey Jesus and do the work He has planned for us by being a part of a local, bible believing, Christ centered, and gospel preaching church. Jesus also tells us not to avoid gathering with fellow believers. (Hebrews 10:25).
It is in the local church that we grow with each other in our knowledge, worship, and maturity as a believer. Jesus says He builds His church and that it is His body.
